I waited a pretty long time before I started playing the Angela games - I have no idea why, but I’m so glad I have started them now! The first full game is my absolute favorite: I loved designing dresses, I loved the reality show storyline, I loved the drama and the addictive vibe, I loved the New York vibes, I loved everything about it and neither High School Reunion nor Wedding Disaster has been able to top it yet! It’s awesome. I loved literally everything about it: the pace, the dynamics, the art, the story… it was so fun and so beautiful and heartfelt and touching and so well done and I truly think it’s the best one after Taste of Fame. The most recent Emily game I have played and this was so so so gorgeous. I really enjoyed seeing Patrick and Emily trying to build a life of their own and face the struggles that come with parenthood, and the locations - especially the theme park - were super fun.

I was never such a fan of Honeymoon Cruise and New Beginnings was cute and okay, but I loved Home Sweet Home.

To be honest, the story annoyed me a bit at times, but I loved it for those two features: the invitation challenges were such an awesome part of the game: challenging, but you really want to meet your goal and they were super creative. There’s two things in particular that I remember loving so much about this game: the option to make actual wedding choices, like for the dress and the bouquet and the ring, and the invitation challenges. And I loved that in the end, her true love was right in front of her. I love how she goes to Paris, and everything there is so gorgeously designed… I loved the characters she meets along the way and I loved how it was predictable but still interesting. I love that it’s the first time Emily’s lovelife gets the spotlight.

Okay, when you’re a true romantic at heart, it’s impossible to not love this game. I loved getting the background story on her and her family and there were so many cute and sweet moments that it warms my heart just to think about it. I absolutely adored the location art here, it was so soft and beautiful and I absolutely loved seeing Emily grow into the person she is today. I’m going to just stick to the order for the sake of convenience: the next Emily game I fell in love with was Childhood Memories. My earliest favourite and one of the best Emily games.

It’s such a classic game and I love it so much: I love each and every location, from Betty’s Diner to Charles’ candy shop and I absolutely LOVED the TV studio: it’s so creative and fun to play, with so many cool things to do (phone orders, speaking to fans) and so many cool characters. The first Emily story I fell head over heels in love with, probably because it’s the first time we see Snuggford. Of course, this is just a first part: there’s still plenty of games I haven’t played, so I’m pretty sure there’ll be a followup soon! Delicious: Emily’s Taste of Fame Let’s get to the list, and I’ll explain further. I think the games that I consider my true favourites are more like… games that have something special for me because they really touched something in my heart or because I had an exceptional amount of fun with them or because they felt like something that fit me and my taste pefectly. Most of them I find to be super fun and lovable and also really good, so in a way they’re all my favourites - if they weren’t, I wouldn’t be such a fan of replaying them. That’s partially because I hadn’t really gotten around to playing some series, but partially because… well, it happens only rarely that I come across a game I really don’t like. And that made me think… which of these games have been my favourites so far? Not that many, surprisingly enough. Later on, I decided that I wanted to replay pretty much all the others too: so that I could be up to date again before starting the sequel but also so that I could write reviews about them.

The past year or so I have been on a replaying spree: I had already played quite a few stories, but I also really wanted to go back to the beginning of the Emily series and really experience it from the very start.
